LIGHT THE NIGHT!!

Keep it safe into 2010. This recent time change has caught us all riding in the dark which can make it hard for cars to see you. As a cyclist it is your responsibility to install a light system on your bike to reduce your risk of not being seen. A good light system goes a long way. It is important to choose a system that suits your needs and also fits into your budget. LED lights can provide intensely bright light and have a low draw on your battery for a long run time. Be sure to tell us what type of riding you are doing so we can help you find the right system for you.

The latest and greatest light system is also the fan favorite at Hyland Bikes. The Planet Bike the Blaze 1-watt headlight with the infamous Superflash taillight has been road tested and raised the bar. This light will keep you safe and visible at all hours of the night and sells as a set for $60.

Going green we also carry a variety of rechargeable and even solar charged headlights. These lights are just as bright as their battery powered brothers but with much less impact on the enviornment. Come check out the Flea light from Blackburn available in a variety of hipster colors!
